Jing Geng

Jing Geng was born in Suzhou, China and moved to Chicago at age 5. She and her family relocated to Nashville in 1998 and have been proud to call Tennessee home ever since. After graduating from Hume-Fogg Academic High School, Jing attended Washington University in St. Louis where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. She then received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law and an LL.M. in Public International Law from Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

Jing has legal experience in both public interest and government and is dedicated to increasing access to justice so that no one is left behind. In recognition of her passion for public service, Jing has received a Certificate of Recognition for Exceptional Service in the Public Interest from her law school and the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award for her legal aid work in Pennsylvania. Jing speaks Mandarin, English, and Spanish and is licensed to practice law in New York and Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, volunteering, and traveling.
