Bianca McNeary is a proud Tennessean born and raised in Memphis, TN. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in African American studies from Austin Peay State University. She then went on to obtain her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Her most memorable law school experiences include serving as a student attorney in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic, Advocacy Clinic, externing for Knox County Criminal Court Judge Hector Sanchez, and serving as a legal extern with the Legal Aid Society.
In her final year of law school she was selected for membership into the Order of Barristers, “limited to graduating law students who possess exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.” She believes that our criminal justice system is in need of major reform as the poor and most vulnerable are used as pawns to achieve a sense of justice. She believes that the true practice of law should instead be achieved through grace, mercy, and forgiveness.
In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants around Nashville and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
