Brittania Poon is originally from Cupertino, California. She received a BA in History and Masters in Education from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After graduate school, Brittania taught at Theodore Roosevelt High School in East Los Angeles. While there, she taught 11th grade US History and AP Us History as well as 12th grade AP Government and Physical Education.
After teaching, Brittania attended and received her JD from UCLA School of Law where she was a student in the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. While in law school, she interned at the Children’s Defense Fund-CA, the Advancement Project, Ahrony, Graham & Zucker, LLP and the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office in their Juvenile Unit.
