Hunter Lindsey – Attorney

“I defend Nashville because everyone is worth fighting for, no matter what anyone may think of them.”

Meet the Defenders

Hunter Lindsey grew up in Glasgow, Kentucky. He graduated from Belmont University in 2020 with a B.A. in Politics and Public Law. He then participated in the AmeriCorps program, working at the Martha O’Bryan Center in East Nashville. He received his Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2024. During law school, Hunter interned with the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Tennessee and clerked for the Honorable Cynthia Chappell of the Davidson County Criminal Court. After graduating from law school, he briefly worked at a general litigation firm before joining Nashville Defenders to pursue his passion for indigent defense. Outside the office, Hunter can be found playing the saxophone in Nashville’s community band, dominating the local Star Wars trivia scene, and spending time with his friends.
