Pat Shelton, Client Advocate

Pat Shelton is a Michigan transplant who now considers herself a Nashville Native. Prior to becoming a Client Advocate, Pat worked as a Clerk Typist, Intake Specialist, Court Runner, and Legal Secretary – all while working for the Nashville Defenders over the course of 24 years!  In June of 2014, Pat graduated summa cum laude with a degree in criminal justice. In September of 2016, she received her M.A. in conflict resolution. For Pat, the opportunity to embrace her new role of Client Advocate represents the culmination of her education, experience, and desire to work with and through people of diverse backgrounds. In her spare time, Pat enjoys reading and watching Vikings on the History Channel.
